Moreland Community Grants program

The Moreland Council Community Grants Program gives financial support and incentive to implement and support community building initiatives.

This grants program is targeted at not-for-profit incorporated community groups.

  • Annual grants, which open in February each year, and
  • Minor grants which are open all year.

Recreation equipment

Provides assistance to local sport and active recreation clubs and organisations to replace essential sports equipment that has been lost or destroyed as a consequence of fire, flood, significant storm event, theft or criminal damage.

Sport Incentive Program

Provider: Australian Sports Foundation

Assists in the development of sport and communities in Australia by providing funding for potential and current projects.

Elite Indigenous Travel and Accommodation Assistance Program (EITAAP)

Provider: Australian Sports Commission
Funding: Up to $1,500 for National Championships and up to $4,000 for International Competitions
Closes: Ongoing
For Indigenous sportspeople who have been selected for a state team to compete at national championships or an Australian team to compete at an international event. The program assists with travel and accommodation expenses only.

Tennis Facility Loan Scheme

Provider: Tennis Australia
Funding: Max per grant $80,000

Financially assists affiliated Australian tennis clubs, centres and associations to upgrade, replace or improve their tennis facilities, by providing low interest loans.
