Membership Opt Out

It’s been great seeing so many of you back in centre after months of lockdown. 

While capacity has increased, there are still limits on the number of people allowed in our centres. Bookings will still be required at Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre, Brunswick Baths and Coburg Leisure Centre for Gym, Group Fitness Classes, Swimming and Personal Training. Now that we are getting back into routine, and the current COVID Summer safe restrictions allow increased access, we will also be reactivating all memberships. If you are one of the many who have already reactivated your membership with us, we are excited to have you back!

All suspended memberships will be reactivated from Thursday 18 February 2021.

If you have a direct debit membership:

If you have chosen to reactivate your membership prior to the above date, your fortnightly debit will continue as usual. If you have not, your membership will be automatically reactivate on the above date. Active Moreland have decided not to apply the annual fee increase to your membership, so fees will remain frozen for the remainder of 2020-2021 financial year. Your first debit may be slightly different from your normal fortnightly fee. This could be due to one or more of the following reasons:

  1. Additional credit applied from your last debit due to centre closure;
  2. Unpaid fees from your last direct debit; or
  3. Pro-rata fees incurred from your activation date to the first returned debit.

After your first direct debit, you will be charged at the same amount and on the same fortnightly or monthly schedule as before suspensions were applied in March 2020.

If you have a pre-paid/term membership:

If you have chosen to reactivate your prepaid membership prior to this date, your membership will continue until it expires. If you have not reactivated your membership yet, it will resume from the time it was suspended.

We understand that some of you may not be ready to return to your health and fitness routine just yet, which is why we’re offering members a further four-week suspension period. If you would like to remain suspended, please email your preferred Active Moreland site.
