Refurbishment works happening at Coburg Leisure Centre

Have you heard the news…Moreland City Council are investing $3.6M into the Coburg Leisure Centre!  

If you have returned after lockdown, you would have already noticed the following $1M of renovations have been completed:

  • Re-tiling of 25m, program and toddlers pools 
  • Aquatic concourse refurbishment  
  • Pool hall ceiling painted  
  • Advanced pool plant room upgrades  
  • Vinyl flooring replacement installed through the dry areas of the facility 
  • New waterplay tipping bucket in toddler’s pool 

Over the next 6 months the following works will be completed as stage 2 valued at  $2.6M: 

  • Full male, female and family/disability changeroom refurbishment 
  • Additional contemporary family change village 
  • New and arger spa and steam room with an additional sauna 
  • New Aquatic program room 
  • First aid room refurbishment 

Although all areas of the Coburg Leisure Centre will remain open as per current operating hours for the duration, there may be some disruptions based on the work program and access requirement. From Friday 26 February, the male changerooms will be relocated to alternative portable facilities at the rear of the building. Please follow directions of staff on where to go.
