A year-round facility with a 25-metre heated indoor pool, heated learner's pool and toddler's play pool, spa and steam room, gym and group fitness classes.

    Companion Card Program

    This centre is part of the Companion Card Program, which means a person with a disability does not have to pay the entry fee for the carer that comes with them.

    Support memberships and programs

    Active Moreland is committed to ensuring that barriers to participation are reduced for those in need.

    Eligible Moreland community members are able to access reduced-cost or free Active Moreland centre memberships through several support streams.

    These include

    • Asylum Seeker Membership
    • Concession Support Membership, and
    • Participation Support Membership.

    Active Moreland centres also provide low cost or free community programs through YMCA Open Doors funding.

    Coburg Leisure Centre children’s services centre is committed to ensuring your children are cared for in a safe, supportive, well-equipped environment by friendly and professional staff.

    Age of children who can use our service

    Coburg Leisure Centre caters for children from six weeks old to five years of age. Children over the age of six can attend but are restricted to the minimum times offered.

    Children can attend child care for a maximum of 15 hours per week.

    Bookings

    Bookings are essential and can be made in person at the child care centre or by phone during the opening hours of Courg Leisure Centre on 9354 3504. 

    A current enrolment must be completed before commencing care with the following: 

    • Immunisation details (print or emailed to jess.sbaraglia@ymca.org.au) 
    • Medical information and Medical management procedures attached (Colour copy ONLY)
    • Emergency contact number

    Download the Coburg Leisure Centre Child Services Enrolment form or pick up a copy at the Coburg Leisure Centre.

    Bookings are essential for child care and occasional care and can be made up to one week in advance with payment taken at reception upon arrival.

    Due to regulations, there is a limit to the number of children who can attend our centre at any one time, therefore parents are required to book in their children before each session. Should you arrive late you will only be eligible to stay for the time in which you had originally booked, unless otherwise discussed with staff.

    An enrolment form must be completed prior to your child’s first stay at our Childcare Centre as well as at the beginning of each year. This is available from reception staff or the Childcare staff. This enrolment form provides us with the relevant information required to care for your child.

    Parent Handbook

    A Parent Handbook with detailed policies and procedures is available from Coburg Leisure Centre Child Care.

    Parents are encouraged to be part of this important service through open discussion with staff members regarding any comments, suggestions or concerns.
