Each Active Moreland pool and leisure centre has a range of accessibility features.

  • Brunswick Baths

    Accessibility features at this centre

    Brunswick Baths is well equipped to cater for people of all abilities. These are some of the accessible features at Brunswick Baths:

    • Recharge point for electric wheelchairs
    • Accessible car spaces are located at the front of the building and in the Dawson Street Car Park (directly opposite the centre's entrance).
    • Lift access to the fully equipped gym and cardio room including one accessible change room and toilet on this upper level.
    • Three accessible/family change rooms in the aquatic area including toilets, showers, and change area (all equipped with railings, alarm system and hoist).
    • Gender diverse change area and toilet.
    • Parent room with change tables.
    • Moveable aquatic hoist in spa area.
    • Ramps to access the 20-metre and 50-metre pools.
    • Aquatic wheel chair available for entry and exits.
    • Group fitness room entry includes ramped access and one accessible shower/toilet/change room.

    Coburg Leisure Centre offers programs that enable people of all abilities the opportunity to participate in a safe and clean environment with qualified, enthusiastic and reliable staff.

    Some of the accessibility features you will find at Coburg Leisure Centre include:

    • Ramp into the heated indoor pool
    • Ramp access to all areas of the centre
    • Changerooms for people with disabilities (with an adult change table)

  • Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre

    Key to the redevelopment of the Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre was the creation of an accessible facility for people of all ages, abilities and cultures.

    Some of the accessibility features you will find at the centre include: 

    • Accessible car spaces are located at the front of the building and in the main carpark.
    • Ramp access to the fully-equipped 24/7 gym including one accessible toilet in the gym.
    • Ramp access to main foyer and pools.
    • Family change rooms in the aquatic area including a toilet, shower and change area (all equipped with railings and alarm system).
    • Changing Places room with bathroom, shower, hoists and bed.
    • Gender diverse bathroom.
    • Change tables in main change rooms and bathroom.
    • Ramps to access 20-metre and 50-metre pools.
    • Aquatic wheelchair available for entry and exits.
    • Free entry for carers.
