Gym and cardio equipment
We offer a fully air conditioned gym with modern equipment from Life Fitness designed to provide a safe and enjoyable environment to exercise.

We also have a separate designated room for stretching and core workout with enough space to lay down a mat and use the fitballs.
Fitness assessment and program
Our gym staff supervise the gym floor at all times and will take you through a fitness assessment then tailor a training program to suit your needs.
The instructor will take you through the gym to explain the exercises, equipment and safety aspects of your exercise program at a time that suits you.
Our gym staff can tailor programs for people of all levels of ability and fitness, from the beginner to the elderly, more advanced clients and those requiring injury rehabilitation.
Continue at your own pace and change your program when it suits you. We encourage you to have your program re-assessed by our staff every 6 - 8 weeks. The gym instructor will help you monitor your progress.
The new React fitness trainer has arrived at Coburg Leisure Centre.
The new training equipment aims to improve strength, balance and core stability in just two 10 minute sessions per week. The first of its kind in Australia, the React Trainer is currently being used by US Olympic and NFL team as a means of rehabilitation and strength building.
React is suitable for all age groups and abilities and can help you achieve your fitness goals. Ask one of our friendly gym instructors to show you the React Trainer on your next visit or call the centre on 9354 3504 for more information.

- vary your work out sessions
- a minimum of three sessions per week is advised for maximum benefit, and
- bags are not permitted on the gym floor, please use the lockers available.
