Secondary school program outline

Active Moreland is committed to providing a range of programs and services that provide young people with a fun and safe environment to develop a positive association with health, wellbeing, physical activity and water safety.

According to the Australian Department of Health, young people aged 13 to 17 years should accumulate at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous intensity physical activity every day. Studies have also shown that being active and connected to their community has a significant impact on overcoming stress, study problems, body image and depression – all of which are main concerns for teenagers.

Active Moreland offers a range of program and services specifically designed for secondary schools within our aquatic and leisure facilities or alternatively at your school.
